Carestream and a subsidiaries were awarded 47 patents in 2011 for
innovations in a radiology
imaging and healthcare
IT, dental
imaging and molecular
imaging products from a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
These new patents include: improvements in design estimate techniques
for digital radiography and mammography exams; information processing
enhancements for radiology information government systems such as RIS
(radiology information systems) and PACS (picture archiving and
communications systems); advances in camera and sensor record for
dental imaging systems; and new sensor, color and multi-modal imaging
improvements for a company’s molecular imaging products.
