ANNAPOLIS, Maryland—The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention has announced a annual endowment recipients for superb feat and joining to a goal for a protected and infection-free smoothness of oral healthcare.

Dr. Jennifer Harte has been awarded a Dr. James J. Crawford Award for 2012. The award, named in respect of a first father of dental infection control, recognizes lifetime feat in a field. The Dr. Milton E. Schaefer Superior Service Award, named for another mythological first member, is awarded annually to commend higher use to OSAP. This year’s honoree is Cheryl Wolf, CDA, BS.

Wolf helped rise OSAP’s “If Saliva Were Red” video, led a introduction of North Carolina’s Statewide Program on Infection Control and Epidemiology (SPICE) to a dental contention during OSAP’s 2007 Symposium, achieved with eminence as OSAP’s deputy on a Dental Assisting National Board’s Infection Control Test Construction Committee, and has helped promote OSAP’s “Ask OSAP” beginning for 10 years.
